项目摘要

(1)初年度・第2年度に行った資史料の内容と収集方法について検討を継続した。その結果,(a)保育者の保育時間・内容意識を1つの代表値・モデルで捉えることはできない。(b)「延長保育」は園を単位とした実践であり,職員の多様な意識の対立と合意とを含みこんで,園ごとに多彩な展開をみせることが予想される。(c)しかも,園としての保育内容意識の変容は障害児保育や異年齢保育などとも関連がある。(d)保育内容意識の変容には,相当の年数の積み上げが必要なので,1つの園の実践に焦点を当てた長期的検討が必要である。(e)この作業を他の園についても行うことによって,保育内容意識の多彩な展開に迫ることができる,ということがみえてきた。(2)長時間保育を切り開いてきた園の保育史を語りうる人物から聞き取るという方法の有効性がますます明らかになり,第2年度に引き続き,聞き取り調査を行った。特に,1960年以降,東京都東久留米市において長時間保育実施をリードし,「暮らしの保育」という観点を打ち出してきた保育士(複数)にも聞き取り調査を実施した。また,近年の質的研究で注目されている「語り」,インタビュー,「オーラル・ヒストリー」等についても検討し,聞き取りという方法の妥当性について検討を深めた。(3)以上の研究成果を,日本保育学会(2007年5月)で発表し,静岡大学教育学部の研究紀要に投稿した。また,『保育学研究』(日本保育学会,第46巻第1号,2008年8月発行予定)に投稿し受理された。さらに,研究の最終年度に当たり,研究成果報告書(保育時間と保育内容に関連に関する実践史的研究)を作成した。
