项目摘要

国の内外を問わず,都市における低層高密度住居群は,人口増加に伴う土地の有効利用,良好な都市環境の獲得などを背景として,消失する傾向にある.その中には,伝統的で豊かな空間も多く含まれ,また,衛生や防災等の大問題を有しつつも,コミュニティとしての評価は高いものもある.本研究では,都市の居住環境の再生という観点から,低層高密度住居群の空間構成を再評価すべきであるという認識に基づき,世界の都市にみられる様々な低層高密度住居群の抽出と調査を行い,空間データベースの作成と空間構成の類型化を行うことを目的とする。本年度は、研究実績の概要は以下の通りである1.世界における低層高密度住居群の抽出と分析対象地域の選定1)昨年度の引き続き、分析対象とする低層高密度住居群の定義と密度指標を再確認した。2)昨年度の引き続き、文献や過去の都市調査事例を収集し、世界における低層高密度住居群を整理した。3)今年度の代表的な事例として、韓国ソウル・北村地区の韓屋群を選定した。2.現地における資料収集と実測調査1)韓国ソウル市の研究機関(建築研究所)において、韓国ソウル・北村地区についてのGIS(地理情報システム)データ、詳細な地図、文献についての情報収集を行った。また、専門家へのインタビューを行い、この地区の形成過程についての調査を実施した。2)韓国ソウル・北村地区の韓屋群を対象として、外部空間及び内部空間の実測調査を実施した。3.空間データベースの作成と空間構成の分析1)韓国ソウル・北村地区の韓屋群について、既存のGIS(地理情報システム)データと実測調査データに基づいて、独自の空間データベースを作成した。2)マダンを中心とした空隙に着目し、韓屋とその集合体の空間構成について、定量的な分析を行った。
