古代ギリシア美術において神殿建築などの公共建築に代表される公的領域の図像研究は、すでに数多く行われているのに対し、家族の表現、家庭での男性、女性のイメージ、誕生から死までのライフサイクルなどを含む私的領域の図像は、近年になって注目され始めた分野である。本年度の研究では、一昨年度、昨年度に引き続き、古代ギリシアの造形美術における私的領域の総合的研究を推進し、目指し、特に彫像や浮彫墓碑や奉納碑や陶器画にみられる家族表現の視覚イメージを分析した。研究活動は具体的に次の4点である。(1)研究分担者の篠塚千恵子は2008年夏期にロンドンの大英博物間およびギリシアのアテネ国立考古博物館において、陶器画と彫刻に関して調査を行った。(2)研究協力者の中村るいは同じく2008年夏期にギリシアのヴォロスにおいて彩色墓碑浮彫に関して調査を行った。(3)研究例会を開催し、構成員のそれぞれの研究の進捗状況について報告し、課題について討論した。(4)本年度は三ヵ年の研究活動の最終年度にあたるため、2009年3月に報告書を作成した。冒頭に研究目的と計画について記し、さらに三年間の詳細な活動記録を記載した。本論として論文、研究報告等の研究成果を掲載した。執筆者は、研究代表の長田年弘、研究分担者の篠塚千恵子、研究協力者の遠藤祐輔、田中咲子、中村るい、名倉千絵、福本薫、計6名である。報告書は200部を作成し、国内外の専門研究者に配布する。

The study of the image of the public domain represented by the ancient temple architecture has been carried out in many ways, such as the family performance, the family male and female, the birth, the death, the image of the private domain, and the separation of the recent years. This year's research is aimed at advancing the comprehensive research on the field of ancient sculpture art, pointing out that special statues, embossed tombstones, memorial tablets and pottery paintings are closely related to family performance. Research activities are specific to the next 4 points. (1)In the summer of 2008, the research team conducted research on pottery painting and carving at the British Museum and the National Archaeological Museum. (2)Research collaborator Nakamura has been conducting research on color tombstone embossed in the summer of 2008. (3)Research meetings are held to urge members to report on the progress of research and to discuss topics. (4)This year's report was prepared in March 2009, the last year of research activities. The purpose of the study was to record the detailed activities of the project during the past three years. This paper, research report and other research results are published.
