项目摘要

本研究においては、過去及び現在の産業の「分析」と、そこから得られる知見に基づいた新産業の「予測」とを両輪とし、「分析」は、個別の産業内における各企業に注目し、当該企業を取り巻く環境や業績等の経時変化から企業の成長の要因を探り出すミクロな分析をおこなった。また、当該「分析」に基づいて新産業を「予測」するためのツールとしての『知財マップ』の開発を行った。各企業の売上・経常利益等の業績や、研究開発費・設備投資費といった投資の額、さらには株価等の相互の相関を多変量解析等に基づいて定量的に評価した。このとき、同時に、企業間の株式の保有・被保有(あるいは役員の兼任状況等)により構成されるネットワークを所定の年度ごとに作成し、当該ネットワークを複雑系ネットワークの視点から解析し、上記業績データとの相関を調べた。複数の特許公開公報等の文献に自然言語処理、具体的には形態素解析を施して名詞を抽出し、それら名詞の出現頻度や共起頻度、さらにはキーワード間の係り受け関係をもとに作成された共起行列を用いて、それら名詞および文献を二次元平面上の所定の位置に配置できる。この知財マップを用いることで、当該文献に記載された技術を視覚的に捉えることが可能となり、新産業への"気づき"を得られることが期待される。知財マップ作成ソフトウェアの初期版のバージョンアップを行うとともに、知財マップの活用手法を確立し、誰もが容易に知財マップを作成・活用することを可能とするシステムの構築の予備研究を行った。
