Study on Reliability of Data Administration on Medical Laser Cards

1989年，利用虚拟数据考察了外界因素对激光卡的影响。结果发现，阳光对激光卡片的质量有很大的影响，我们开发了一套能够记录数字数据、文字数据、图形数据和心电数据的软件，并利用该软件对激光卡片上的数据进行了读写处理，在激光卡片上记录了108例患者的医疗数据。在此过程中，发现8张卡片存在写入错误。然而，在患者保存卡的6个月内，没有发生读取错误。此后，在一年的时间里，出现了一些写作错误。根据这些结果，有必要提高临床使用的激光卡的可靠性。这些结果发表在1990年3月举行的美国第二届患者卡会议上。

In 1989 the influence of external factors on the laser card was examined using dummy data. It was found that sunlight had a strong influence on the quality of the card.New software capable of recording digital data, character data, graphic data and ECG was developed by us, and handling of reading and writing data on the laser card was performed using this software.Medical data on 108 patients were recorded on the laser cards. During this process, 8 cards were found to contain writing errors. However, in a period of 6 months when the patients kept their cards, no reading error occurred. Thereafter, a few writing errors occurred during a one-year period. From these results, it was necessary to improve the reliability of the laser card for clinical use.These results were reported in the U.S.A. at the Second Conference on Patient Cards, March 1990.
