本研究では、1)明るさ環境と視覚作業能率との関係の実験的検討及び2)明るさ環境と歩行行動能との関係の検討の二つの実験を計画した。このうち、実験1)明るさ環境と視覚作業能率との関係では、正眼者を被験者としたロービジョン・シュミレーション実験を行った。視覚作業能率の評価には、佐藤式視覚作業検査(日本文化科学社)を用いた。明るさ環境の設定は、高照度照明が可能な実験室で実施し、指標としては作業机上面照度を1000、500、100、50、10、11xの6段階に設定した。視機能はシュミレーションレンズによって、視力、視野をコントロールした。その結果、正常視機能における視覚的作業能率は、11x条件でも視標サイズが視力値に対して十分大きければ、60%程度を維持できることが明らかになった。しかし、501x以下の各照明条件での視力値に満たない視標サイズに対しては、視覚作業能率は著しく低下する傾向を示していた。これは網膜色素変性症を対象とした先行研究の結果と近似しており、さらに実験データを増やして確認する必要がある。ロービジョン・シュミレーション条件については、現在データ分析を行っている。次に、実験2)明るさ環境と歩行行動能との関係では、実験1同様、視機能をシュミレーションレンズでコントロールした正眼者を被験者とした。実験は屋外の設定された歩行路で実施し、分析の指標には移動位置検出システムで検出した歩行軌跡と移動速度を用いた。現在、歩行路設定のための予備実験を終了し、本実験を実施している段階であるが、ロービジョンのシュミレーション条件では、歩行軌跡、移動速度ともに行動能の低下がみられる事を確認している。今後は、歩行軌跡の数量的評価の検討を行い、明るさと視覚的歩行行動能との関係を明らかにしていく計画である。

Under various lighting conditions below 501x, visual acuity tends to decrease. The results of previous studies on retinal pigment disorders were similar to those of previous studies. Now, the preparation of the travel route setting is completed, the operation is performed in the middle of the stage, and the conditions of the travel route, the movement speed, and the movement performance are confirmed. In the future, the evaluation and discussion of the number of walking trajectories will be carried out in the future.
