1.補助金の交付によって購入できたIDCのMicrofische collection:"The Cooperative Movement in Russia"(第一回分 203 title)をもとに、初期ロシア、ウクライナ協同組合運動史に関する研究が、さらに可能となった。2.日本学術会議経済理論研連主催シンポジュウム:「社会主義と市場経済--望ましい経済システムを求めて---」(1993年3月15日)の報告者として「社会主義的経営から自主的協同組合への転換---旧ソ連・東欧の経済再建と協同組合の再評価---」と題する発表を行った。3.ペレストロイカ以後のロシア・ウクライナの協同組合運動の現状と歴史資料を確かめるために、1993年7月20日より8月10日まで、私費で主にロシア共和国のモスクワ、エカテリンブルグ、及びウクライナ共和国のキエフ、チェルカスィを訪れて、両国の協同組合中央会及び図書館、アネヒーフなどを訪ね、各種の資料を収集した。その調査にもとずいて、社会思想史学会、コバアト・オウエン協会などで口頭発表した。またその内容を、『工学院大学研究論叢』第31号に発表した。ウクライナ共和国の科学アカデミー付属・ヴェルナツキー名称中央科学図書館・付属手稿研究所において、ウクライナの協同組合運動の先駆者・ニコライ・バーリンの未発表原稿を含む多数の資料を閲覧し、その一部を複写した。また、同研究所の主席研究員・S.N.キルジャーエフ氏と共同で、バーリンに関するロシア語での研究論文を、北海道大学・スラブ研究センターの海外向け研究発表誌『ACTA SLAVICAIAPONICA』Vol.12に発表することになった。
