项目摘要

質問項目42(及び43)問からなる医師会会員意識調査票を用意し、K市(人口約58万人)とN市(人口約43万人)の医師会会員全員を対象に郵送法によるアンケート調査を実施した。フェース・シートとしては、1)性別、2)年齢、3)出身地、4)出身大学、5)診療科目、6)医療形態、7)父親の職業、の7項目を置き、さらに仕事の満足感や生活水準の自己評定などをこれに加えた。医療の現場における実践に関しては、医師会のあり方から臓器移植や脳死問題まで幅広い領域から問題を提起しつつ意見を聞いたが、これらの質問群は二つに分けられた。一つは、一定のステートメントを与えて、これに対する賛否の度合いを5段階尺度で測定する方法、もう一つは、与えられた回答選択肢から一つを選ぶ方法で医師の職業行動や職業意識を明きらかにするという方法をとった。調査票の回収率は、当初の目標どうり、K市及びN市の両医師会で50%を超えた。回収されたサンプルでみる限り、いわゆる若い勤務医の「代表性」が問題になる点を除けば、多様な医師の意識や行動を明きらかにするためのデータが収集できた。なお、両調査の「概要」は次の通り。
