本研究は,北陸地方の一山村をサンプルに10年間隔で行っている言語と言語行動の経年的調査の一環である。第1次の調査は1971年に実施,また第2次の調査は1982年に実施した。急激な社会変化の中で住民の言語生活が変容していく過程について,その実態や社会的要因を明らかにした。そして10年後,今回の調査ではこれまでの成果を受け継ぎ同じ山村において第3次のフィールドワークを実施した。内容は以下の通りである。1.自然談話資料の収録と文字化2.若年層を対象とした親族名称の運用に関するアンケート調査の実施3.調査地の伝統的方言の記述(調査地の方言語彙集の作成)なお,3に関しては,真田ふみをインフォーマントとした『越中五箇山方言語彙-文表現に関することば-』を公刊した。

This study is part of a 10-year survey of speech and speech behavior in a mountain village in Hokuriku. The first survey was conducted in 1971 and the second survey in 1982. In the process of social transformation, the speech life of the inhabitants changes rapidly, and the main causes of social reality change clearly.
