(1)教育課程の編成に関して「総合学科」構想による「総合科学科」の8系列の総合選択科目群の目標を達成するための効果的な教育課程の開発を行い、1年次の内容について実践した。(2)科目選択、成績処理及び出欠管理に関して「総合学科」の選択科目には、生徒の広領域に亘る進路希望や興味・関心に対応する多種多様な科目を用意する必要である。これらの選択科目の科目選択や成績処理及び出欠管理に関しては、生徒の履修科目が多様多岐に亘るため、従来の方式と異なる新しい方式による対応が必要となる。このため、次のような方式を開発して、実践試行した。(1)科目選択の新しい方式と成果現有の20台のコンピュータを接続したランシステムとシステムに必要なソフトウェアを開発して、生徒個別の2、3年次の時間割の効率的な作成をした。この時間割の作成に当たっては、原則履修科目の「産業社会と人間」の指導時間を活用した。160人の生徒に対して、150通りの時間割を短時間に効率的に作成することができた。(2)成績処理及び出欠管理の新しい方式と成果成績処理及び出欠管理の新しい方式として、データ集中管理装置と生徒用のコンピュータ及び各教科・科目の担当教官室のコンピュータを接続した校内ネットワークシステムを構築した。このシステムを活用して、成績や出欠に関しての新しい処理・管理方式を実践試行するとともに、多様な選択科目に対応する新しい成績票を作成した。(3)新しい学習方式と科目の開発に関して開発した新しい校内ネットワークシステムと学校外の各種データバンクや図書館などの広域情報ネットワークと電話回線で接続して、総合的なネットワークを構築し、それを活用する新しい学習方式を実践試行するとともに、関連した新しい科目の開発を行った。
