大自由度非線形散逸力学系における分岐現象として、アトラクタニューラルネットの連想記憶モデルをとりあげ、相転移の結果生ずる記憶想起状態と呼ばれる秩序相に対する確率的ノイズの働きや、ランダムネスの効果等について調べることを行い、主に次に述べるような結果を得ることができた。(1)非単調伝達関数をもつアナログネットにおいて新しく見いだされたスーパーリトリ-バル相はシナプス結合が非対称な場合に対しても安定に存在できること、さらに、ランダムパターンに基づくサンプル依存性が熱力学極限下でも消えずに残るシステムにおいても、スーパーリトリ-バル相は、局所場のノイズが消失することにより、サンプル依存性が無くなる形でやはり存在できるものであることが判明した。(2)詳細釣り合いの条件が成立しないときの大自由度確率過程の問題の典型例として、遷移確率レートが一般の関数形をとるグラウバ-ダイナミクスに支配されたイジングスピンネットを扱い、記憶想起状態の性質、とくに局所場分布の統計的性質について数値シミュレーションの方法により調べた。その結果、TAP方程式相当の関係式について、いわゆるオンサガ-項相当の項の存在により、一般に出力比例項が消えずに残ることが分かる(平衡分布がボルツマン分布となる通常のネットワークでは0になっている)とともに、局所場ノイズおよびTAP方程式レベルの局所場ノイズ双方が非ガウス分布になっていることが判明した。また、非単調な遷移確率レートを持つネットワークでは、アナログネットの場合と同様に記憶容量の増大する現象が見い出されることも確認された。
