1.調査・録画・録音本年度は3ケ年継続の最終年度で、過去2ケ年で果たし得なかった舞踊技法の実態調査の補充と、その技法の録画・録音を行った。(1)沖縄舞踊(イ)八重山舞踊沖縄諸島のうちの八重山諸島には特有の歌謡が伝承されており、その歌謡の踊りが硫球王国時代から士族間でつくられ、伝承されてきた。その振りは、硫球の宮廷ぶりを攝取しながら、なお八重山独特の技法を残して、現在では冠船踊とも異なる、八重山風といってよい形のものに固定している。その点にかんがみ、前年度、若干調査・録画したものに加えて、本年度は、八重山の古典舞踊の代表曲を対象に調査・録画を行った。(ロ)沖縄古典舞踊過去2ケ年に調査・録画した各曲について、調査の対象とした奏演者の数人に面接し、補充調査を行った。(2)アジア諸国の舞踊(イ)マレーシア舞踊11月来日したマレーシア国立舞踊団の教師シャリファー・マハニー氏などからマレーシアの古典宮廷舞踊の技法を調査し、それを録画した。(ロ)韓国舞踊昨年に続き、韓国の宮廷舞踊の補充調査を行った。2.分析研究調査,記録したものをカード等で整理し、各国の技法を比較研究し、沖縄の舞踊技法の特色を抽出し、それに基づいて舞踊譜作成のプランを考究した。
