Oxide melts like silicate,borate,and aluminosilicate are important in the field of metallurgy,glass ceramics as well as earth science.In the present progect it was intended to measure the thermodynamic heat contents directly in molten state in a calorimeter,along with other studies with electrochemical and spectroscopic techniques.A high temperature calorimeter of Tian-Calvet type was constructed and applied to measure(1) the heat contents of silica-alumina non-crystalline powder prepared by the sol-gel method and(2) the heat of reaction of sodium carbonate with boric oxide melt.In the former, the powder samples of various heat treatment was dissolved in 2PbO・B_2O_3 solvent.Heat content variation which increases with the alumina content suggests coordination change around Al atom with heat treatment.In the latter,due to the viscous nature of the solution CO_2 evolution was not smooth enough to give reproducible results.This measurement was carried out to find proper condition to handle the system associated with water vapor.A linear sweep voltammetry for redox equilibrium measurement was applied in varous melts in parallel with the calorimetry.Molecular bynamics simulations as well as quantum mechanical calculation were also attempted for better understanding of the oxide melts.
硅酸盐、硼酸盐、铝硅酸盐等氧化物熔体在冶金、微晶玻璃和地球科学等领域有着重要的应用价值,本文采用量热计直接测量了熔体的热力学热含量,并对熔体的热力学性质进行了分析。沿着其他电化学和光谱技术的研究,我们构造了Tian-Calvet型高温量热计,并应用于测量(1)SiO_2的热含量,溶胶-凝胶法制备的氧化铝非晶粉末的热含量;碳酸钠与氧化硼熔体的反应热。前者是将不同热处理的粉末样品溶解在2 PbO·B_2O_3溶剂中。热含量随氧化铝含量的增加而增加,表明热处理过程中Al原子周围的配位发生了变化。后者是碳酸钠与氧化硼熔体的反应热。由于溶液CO_2的粘性,2的演化不够平滑,不能给出可重复的结果。进行该测量是为了寻找合适的条件来处理与水蒸气相关的体系。线性扫描伏安法用于氧化还原平衡测量,在各种熔体中与量热法平行。分子动力学模拟作为以及量子力学计算也试图更好地理解氧化物熔体。
