自然言語の論理的構造の解明が本研究の主な目的であるが、63年度においても、レスニェウスキー存在論の研究に焦点が置かれた。とくに、自然言語に大きな役割を演じている確定記述のレスニェウスキー存在論の枠内における定式化が検討され、その結果に基づいて、初等レスニェウスキー存在論の新しい公理系が提唱された。一方、前年度からはじめられたレスニェウスキー式論理文法の研究においても、言語理解の論理構造に関して新しい知見が得られた。とくに、言語理解のために構成されるモデルが主観的であることが、論理的に解明され、その際導入される個体が仮に措定される存在者であることが明確にされた。
