シリアンハムスタ-に高繊維質飼料であるアルファルファ牧草ミ-ルと飲水以外は全く何も与えずに,離乳子を多く残す方向で選抜,世代交代を重ねて現在17世代までに達した。この系統(ALF系)は,生後10週齢で交配され,離乳子数平均が6.0頭前後と安定して推移している。ALF系の飼料消化能力向上の要因について対照のGNR系と比較した結果,(1)成長期の乾物,総繊維,エネルギ-および粗蛋白質の消化率は,GNR系に比べて雌雄とも顕著な差異は認められなかったが,ALF系雌においては乾物および粗蛋白質消化率が高くなり,代謝体重当たりに補正した乾物摂取量,可消化乾物摂取量でも多い傾向にあった。一方,雌の妊娠・泌乳期といったエネルギ-を多く必要とするステ-ジでは,特に妊娠の後期には,乾物,粗蛋白質消化率および代謝体重当たりの乾物摂取量が有意に向上し,さらには総繊維消化率でも多くなった。(2)消化管組織重量は,ALF系がGNRに比べて成長期および妊娠期の両ステ-ジで重い傾向にあった。また,消化管容積では,前胃の容積がALF系で大きい傾向にあった。(3)成長期のエネルギ-転換効率は,ALF系の蛋白質エネルギ-転換効率が優れ,とりわけ制限条件で顕著となった。蓄積エネルギ-は雌雄で反応が異なり,ALF系雌の蓄積が多くなった。雌の妊娠および泌乳期には特に高いエネルギ-蓄積によってより多くの離乳子を確保していることが推察された。(4)盲腸中のセルロ-ス分解菌数は10^<5.6>〜10^<6.7>CFU/gで,ALF系とGNR系間に一定の傾向は認められなかった。また,前胃においては10^<2.0>〜10^<6.4>CFU/gと妊娠および泌乳の時期で変動が大きかった。この結果は,ハタネズミでの報告と類似していたが選抜によってセルロ-ス分解菌数および活性が高まったかについて今回は特定できなかった。

(3) there is a significant difference in the rate of long-term and long-term growth, and that of protein in the ALF system. In the case of ALF, the male and female were in the same condition, while the female in the family of PUBG had more than one. During the period of lactation, the female was pregnant and had a high risk of lactation. (4) the number of bacteria that decompose bacteria in the blind is 10 ^ & lt;5.6>~ 10 ^ & lt;6.7>CFU/g. ALF must be used in the GNR system. During pregnancy, lt;2.0>~ 10 ^ & lt;6.4>CFU/g pregnancy and lactation during lactation, you will have a major pregnancy.
