筆者は,これまでに連鎖法,かけくぎ法,音声変換法,頭文字法などによる種々な記憶課題(材料)を開発し,それらを登校拒否児童生徒に適用し,保健室登校を含めると8割以上の再登校を実現してきた。しかし,中学生・高校生の登校拒否の治療的援助における重要な課題の一つは,学習面の遅れと学習への不安感の克服である。登校拒否児童生徒の治療的援助への導入期,再登校促進期及び事後援助段階において適用できる連鎖法の基本を踏まえた「英単語」の記憶材料を作成し,すでに開発してきた技法や材料と併用することによって,一層の効果を企図することが,本研究課題であった。本研究は,平成6年度のみの採用によって実施されたものである(当初3年間の計画で申請)。その結果,以下の研究成果が得られた。1.連鎖法による英単語記憶リストの開発(1)中学生及び高校生用(主として,高校生用)の連鎖法による英単語記憶リスト(2,264語)を作成した。(2)連鎖法による英単語絵画刺激(250語)の作成(カラーの絵画原版及びスライド)。(3)連鎖法による英単語記憶技法の個別学習用テープ1本を試験的に作成した。ただし,当初の目標であった総単語3,000語,絵画刺激500語は,予想以上の時間と経費を要したために実現できなかった。2.登校拒否生徒に対する連鎖法による英単語記憶リストの試験的適用(1)記憶療法への導入段階での適用1事例(高校1年女子,自殺未遂後断続的不登校。4回の記憶療法で再登校),(2)中学3年次に再登校を実現し,高校に進学した2事例の事後援助(公立高校1年在学中の女子1例,通信制高校1年在学中の男子1例に適用。月に1回,3-8回実施。1回30語,1リスト平均1分で記憶可能。登校継続中)。平成7年度以降において,記憶リストの補充を行うとともに,本格的な事例研究を実施する予定である。
