1.期待された蚕糸業に関する纒まった資料の発掘はなかったが、県内に残存しない各種調査報告書を多数入手した。特に、『工場統計表』、『会社統計表』は、山梨県の産業構成を再把握する上で重要な資料となる。2.これまで『営業報告書』が確認されていたのは69社であったが、『山梨日日新聞』での決算広告の収集作業で、山梨県の近代産業の勃興期の明治30年代半ばから、蚕糸業の凋落期にあたる昭和10年代初頭に掛けての時期の約300社の決算資料を入手した。なお、『営業報告書』も多数複写し資料化した。3.入手した資料の解読・分析を進め、論文「日本の産業近代化と地方名望家層の動向」(『山梨大学教育学部研究報告』に発表予定)の執筆に努力している。これまでの分析検討の結果明らかになった新知見は、(1).県内のトップクラスの地主・銀行家から群小の製糸業者にいたる各階層の相互関連は必ずしも密接でなく二重構造とも言うべきハッキリした断層が存在し、一部を除き地域的な広がりも大きくない。(2).地域産業の振興に果たした名望家層の役割は大きいが,資金提供に止まり、経営参画にまで積極的に拘った部分は必ずしも多くない。これは山梨県のみの特長に止まるか否かについては更に検討を要する。(3).これまでの研究では興亡が激しく、経営基盤が脆弱と考えられていた製糸経営の財務構造は健全であった。これは地域産業の近代化をリ-ドした名望家層の経済感覚を反映すものといえよう。(4).従来、製糸業への特化と把握されていた本県の企業配置の見直しという新たな課題を発見した。4.なお、資料調査過程で多くの名望家層の『日記』を発見した。次年度は課題「日記資料を素材とする地方名望家層の思想研究」を申請し、更に、名望家層の精神活動や思想に分析のメスを入れたいと考えている。

1. We expect that most of the investigation reports will be published in the future. In particular, the "Factory Statistics Table" and "Club Statistics Table" are important data for re-grasping the industrial structure of Yamanashi. 2. This is a matter of discussion about Yamanashi Prefecture's special skills. (3). This study is about the rise and fall of enterprises, the fragility of their management base, and the soundness of their financial structure. The modernization of the regional industry is reflected in the sense of social and economic development. (4). In the future, the specialization of the enterprise and the management of the enterprise should be grasped. 4. The process of data investigation has been revealed in the "diary" of many famous family layers. This year's topic is "Diary data and research on the thoughts of local famous families."
