The project consists in a digital commented historico-critical edition of Stefan Heym's novel "Ahasver" and is supposed to serve as a pilot for a digital historico-critical complete edition of Heym's oeuvre. Thanks to a - very fortunate - legal situation resulting in the opportunity of making full use of the author's literary remains and his personal library, the project will be the first to provide such an edition of a contemporary author whose cultural as well as political impact is beyond all question.
