In FY2018, we published the first data release of the CLAMATO absorption tomography survey probing the 2.0<z<2.5 intergalactic medium (IGM), which I led and authored. This was accompanied by the detection of cosmic voids within this data at <z>~2.3, which marks the most distant sample of cosmic voids observed to-date. At the same time, we have also worked on theoretical methods to estimate the underlying dark matter density field using IGM tomography data. The initial paper describing the basic method has recently been completed, showing that this technique is able to recover well the cosmic web structure in the observational volume. Another application of IGM tomography is to target the volume near ultraluminous quasars to measure the effect of the intense quasar radiation on the nearby IGM structures - the first paper describing method has also been submitted.Observationally, we managed to get additional telescope time to obtain more data in January and February 2019, which will increase our observational footprint by 25% and improving coverage of the large galaxy protoclusters in that volume. We are continuing to apply for more telescope time to further increase the coverage and maximize the scientific yield.These results are feeding into the survey science definition for the Prime Focus Spectrograph on the Subaru Telescope, which will be Japan's next major astronomical survey facility starting from 2022.
