本研究では以下の3つの目標が設定されている：①日本人英語学習者のリペアとスピーチの自己評価の結果を分析し、モニタリング中の評価基準と自己評価に用いられた評価基準の関係を明らかにする。②日本人英語学習者のモニタリングの評価と自己評価には学習者のメタ言語的知識と心理的個人要因が関与しているかを明らかにする。③日本人英語学習者のモニタリングの評価と自己評価が学習者のL2スピーキング習得度関連していることを実証する。前年度から引き続き作成・修正を重ねていたデータを収集するためのタスクが全て完成し、予備実験も終えている。被験者がスピーキングタスク・リスニングタスク・自己採点タスクの3つが行えるようなオンラインプラットフォームの用意が整ったので、データを収集し、すでに収集した分は分析が進み、結果の考察に入っている。さらに、調査内容の公表に向けて、執筆を進める傍ら、学会発表（The European Second Language Association [EuroSLA])にて研究発表も予定されている。また、学習者のメタ言語的知識と心理的個人要因を計測するタスクの作成も完了したので、現在も継続して追加実験を実施している。こちらはデータの取集が終わり次第、分析を進める予定である。
