本年度は、研究対象者の選定・データ収集を実施した。研究対象者の選定においては、透析治療を受けていた高齢者の看取りについて問いかけるため、研究対象者が研究へ参加することでの心理的負担を最小限に抑えるべく研究協力施設の方と協議を重ね、研究対象者の選定を行った。また、データ収集においては、研究対象者が半構造化インタビューを通し悲嘆が強く生じる可能性があるため、研究協力施設の方と相談し、研究協力施設内でデータ収集を実施し、もし研究対象者の方が半構造化インタビューによって悲嘆が強くなった際、精神科の受診や看取りに関わった研究協力施設の方に話を聞いてもらえるなど、研究対象者の希望に沿って対応してもらえるよう環境を整え実施した。その結果、２つの研究協力施設を通し、3名の研究対象者の方からデータ収集を行うことができた。半構造化インタビュー時間は概ね60分から120分程度で、1人1回実施した。半構造化インタビューを通し、透析治療の継続について医療者と相談した内容やその時家族として考えたこと、透析治療を受ける終末期の高齢者や家族に対する具体的な医療者のサポート、医療者への要望等についてデータ収集することができた。また、研究参加に伴った研究対象者の悲嘆の増長はなく終了することができた。今年度は、より研究データを収集すべく、研究対象者を確保するのと同時に、収集したデータの分析を行う予定である。現在は、収集したデータの個別分析を開始している段階である。
