项目摘要

高齢者の孤独は、抑うつ状態の惹起に代表されるような心身の健康やwellbeingを脅かす主要な危険因子である。高齢者の孤独の予防を目指し、これまで多くの研究が孤独の予測因子を明らかにしてきた。その中で社会参加の量だけでなく、社会参加の内容や満足感が孤独の緩和のために重要であることも示されている。また、文化や性別の違いによっても社会参加の持つ意味が異なり、孤独に与える影響も異なる可能性が考えられる。本研究は文化特性を加味した社会活動が性別によってどのように孤独に影響を与えるのかを、包括的に明らかにすることを第一の目的とする。加えて、孤独と孤立は必ずしも相関しない。1人で過ごす時間を好む独自志向性の高い高齢者は、１人時間に対して主観的なwell-beingを高めるなど、ポジティブな側面を見いだすことも分かっている。孤立状態と孤独感が乖離している高齢者の臨床的特徴を明らかにすることは高齢者のメンタルヘルス向上のため孤立と孤独への支援をより良いものにすると期待できる。本研究では孤独と孤立の乖離している高齢者の臨床的特徴を明らかにすることを第二の目的とした。現在、２回の郵送調査を実施した。その結果、孤独に対して男女異なる社会活動の因子が複数影響していることが明らかになった。現在データの解析途中であり、今後これらのデータの解析を進め、孤独と孤立の乖離が生じている高齢者の臨床的特徴を明らかにする予定である。
