2022年度の研究実績は、史料調査や先行研究の収集、および博士論文や本研究に関連する研究内容についての学会報告が主だったものとして挙げられる。その中で最も重要な成果は、イギリスの国立公文書館における史料調査において、関連する一次史料を収集できたことである。イギリス国立公文書館において、1980年前後の国際通貨体制や国際金融市場に対する西側主要国間の会議記録に関連するフォルダが所蔵されていることが判明したため、2023年3月にイギリスでの史料調査を実施した。この調査によって、1980年の国際通貨体制の防衛について米英がどのような状況認識を有していたのかを示す、極めて重要な史料を収集することに成功した。また一次史料だけでなく、冷戦史やアメリカ外交史に関連する最新の研究成果をまとめた書籍の購入なども進めた。さらに2022年9月、博士論文や2022年4月以降の研究の進捗を踏まえ、アメリカ史学会において、「イラン革命、ソ連のアフガニスタン侵攻とドルの危機―エネルギー・通貨・金融をめぐる米ソ冷戦―」というタイトルで研究報告を発表した。この発表において、今後の研究成果につながる重要なコメントや指摘を受けることができた。今後の研究の展開としては、これまでに収集した先行研究や一次史料に基づいて海外ジャーナルへの研究成果の発表を予定している。研究計画の段階ではDiplomatic Historyという雑誌へ投稿を予定していたが、掲載までに数年以上の時間がかかるという状況であるため、より早期に研究の成果が発表できる米国の別のジャーナルに投稿を予定している。

The research results of 2022 are as follows: historical data survey, collection of previous research, doctoral thesis and related research contents. The most important achievements of the National Public Library are the collection of historical materials. International Monetary System and International Financial Market around 1980 This investigation was successful in collecting important historical data on the defense of the international currency system in 1980. The latest research results of historical materials, cold history and diplomatic history are also available. In September 2022, the doctoral thesis and the progress of research since April 2022 were published in the "International Revolution, Recovery and Development" and "International Research Report" published by the Association for History. The development of this project and the results of future research are important. The future research should be carried out in advance of the collection of historical materials and the publication of overseas research results. The stage of the research project is determined by the Diplomatic History and the contribution is determined by the publication of the results of the early research for more than a few years.
