项目摘要

本研究は、日本の高校に在籍し日本の大学への進学を希望している、日本語を第二言語として学ぶ生徒（Japanese as a Second Language Students：以下、JSL生徒）の認知的発達段階を考慮した「書く」教育実践システムを構築することを目的とする。文献調査および、JSL生徒、教師へのインタビュー調査から、現在、日本国内で行われている「書く」教育に対する課題と改善点を明らかにする。これらを踏まえ、日本の大学への進学を希望しているJSL生徒に対して「書く」実践と考察を行い、今後、JSL生徒に対する「書く」教育は何を目指し、どのように行っていくべきなのかを示す。2022年度は、まず、海外の移民受け入れ先進国（オーストラリア、アメリカ等）では、移民の子どもに対する「書く」教育はどのように行われているのかを明らかにすることを目的とし、日本国内、および海外（主にオーストラリア、米国）における第二言語教育、国語教育、リテラシー教育等の取り組みに関する文献調査を行った。この研究成果は、展望論文として国内学術誌に投稿し、2023年に掲載予定である。次に、研究協力者である、筆者が勤務する高校において日本語を第二言語として学んできた大学生に対し、継続してインタビュー調査を行った。現在から過去を振り返るだけではなく、高校時代、大学1年生、大学2年生と継続的にインタビュー調査を行うことにより、JSL生徒の日本語を含む複数言語とその学びに対する捉え方に対する意味付けが、時間の経過と環境の変化によって、どのように変化していくのかを明らかにした。以上の研究成果は、国内外の学会、および学術誌にて発表予定である。
