申請時の計画に基づいて、各研究（研究Ⅰ～研究Ⅳ）を各時期（第1期～第4期）に遂行している。研究Ⅰの特別支援学校高等部における音楽づくりの実践研究として、主体的な音楽表現をめざして、滋賀県立野洲養護学校で、打ち合わせも含めて計3回アドバイザーとして授業を実施した。打楽器奏者とのコラボレーションでも、有益な知見が積み重ねられている。研究Ⅱのアンケート調査については、事前準備として各校の音楽担当者に電話やメールや対面で、個別に音楽授業の実態や課題の聞き取りを行ったため、当初計画の第2期ではなく、半年遅れた2023春に実施すべく着実に準備を進めているところである。研究Ⅲの滋賀大学教育学部附属音楽教育支援センター「おとさぽ」との共同研究としては、おとさぽ担当者や専門家（打楽器奏者）と細かい連携を取りながら、滋賀県立盲学校及び、滋賀大学教育学部附属特別支援学校、及び滋賀大学教育学部建物内おとさぽのプレールームでの音楽実践や音楽療法、及び企画行事に参画してきた。研究Ⅳのベトナム・ハノイのサオマイ障害児療育センターとの共同研究については、事前にセンター長とのメールでのやりとりを重ね、実際に2022夏に、他研究の研究協力者として現地を訪ねた際に、本研究の打ち合わせ及び映像を使った説明を行い、現地スタッフの理解を得てきたところである。2023夏の実践研究実施にむけて、細かい打ち合わせを重ねていく予定である。予算の執行状況については、研究1年目にあたる2022年度については、先行研究を整理考察してくために、関連分野の文献や雑誌及びDVDを購入している。また、研究上不可欠な楽器類（トーンチャイム・カホン・スリットドラム等の打楽器を中心に）を購入し、研究室で専用の楽器庫で保管するとともに、障害児者あるいはその関係者の研修会等の実際の音楽研究活動で使用してきている。
