项目摘要

本研究では、研究１．東北メディカル・メガバンク機構の大規模コホートデータを用いて口腔状態の悪化から認知症発症・認知機能低下に至るメカニズムについて、生物学的な経路、社会学的な経路も含めてどの経路の影響が大きいのかを定量化すること、研究２．口腔状況の変化に関する情報を含む長期追跡コホート調査のデータを使用し、口腔状態の悪化から認知症発症までの因果効果について推定することを目的に研究を行っている。今年度は、研究１に関して、関連する研究のレビューや、東北メディカル・メガバンク機構のデータ申請を進めた。また、口腔と認知症の関連を調査する前段階として、メタボロームなどの生体代謝物質と認知機能との関係について解析を行った。また、研究２について、当初本研究で使用する予定であった日本老年学的評価研究の調査データとは異なり、共同研究を行っているシンガポールの高齢者を対象としたPanel on Health and Ageing of Singaporean Elderly (PHASE) studyのデータを使用し、口腔の健康状態が認知機能に与える影響についてLongitudinal modified treatment policy approachを適応し、解析を行った。その結果、仮想的な歯科喪失の予防介入は、より良い認知機能状態と関連していることが明らかになり、歯の喪失予防が高齢者の認知機能の維持に有用である可能性が示された。本研究についてはすでに論文化を実施し、国際誌にアクセプトされた。最終年度は、研究１に関して、解析を進める予定である。

This study includes: 1. Research on the use of large-scale information on the development of cognitive disorders, cognitive impairment, and oral health in Northeast China; 2.
