本研究における主要な成果として、次の3つの項目を挙げる(各項目について学会発表演題採択済)。①監察医事務所・警察機関の取扱う情報(検案要請書)を活用して統計調査を実施し、自殺既遂者の特徴を分析することができた(次項②、③を参照)。我が国において監察医事務所と警察機関が取扱う情報を活用した自殺者の疫学調査に関する研究は行われておらず、本研究結果は自殺調査における新たな情報源を模索する上で大きな成果であるといえる。②検案要請書に記載された自殺者情報のうち、精神科受診歴のある自殺既遂者について、精神科を最後に受診した日から30日以内に自殺を実行する割合が高いことが明らかとなった。③検案要請書に記載された自殺者情報について多変量ロジスティック回帰分析を実施し、自殺既遂者の精神科受診歴の有無に有意な関連がみられる因子を調査した。調査の結果からa, 性別カテゴリーが男性に対して女性(調整オッズ比, 1.87; 95%信頼区間, 1.12-3.12)、b, 職業カテゴリーが無職である者に対して正規雇用の者(調整オッズ比, 0.47; 95%信頼区間, 0.26-0.87)、c, 職業カテゴリーが無職である者に対して学生である者(調整オッズ比, 0.05; 95%信頼区間, 0.01-0.44)で有意な関連があることが示唆された。※③の結果の解釈: 自殺者のうち生前に精神科を受診していたことに関連する因子として性別が女性であることが挙げられ、自殺者のうち精神科を受診したことが無いことに関連する因子として正規雇用者、学生が挙げられる。項目②、③の結果から、自殺を実行する可能性が高い属性の存在が示唆された。今後さらなる継続調査を実施し、自殺企図者の早期発見に寄与する因子を解明する必要がある。自殺企図のハイリスク群に対する重点的なアプローチの実施は自殺予防と早期医療介入の鍵であると考える。

The main results of this study are as follows: 1.
