An Empirical Study on the Regional Diversity of Islamic Finance in the Global Era

本研究聚焦于三个具有代表性的伊斯兰金融新兴市场(约旦、印度尼西亚和英国)，旨在阐明全球化时代伊斯兰金融实践的区域多样性。研究表明，伊斯兰金融的理论和实践在这些国家都有所不同。造成这种差异的主要因素是与全球伊斯兰金融中心(海湾国家和马来西亚)的关系存在差异。

This study focuses on three representative emerging markets of Islamic finance (Jordan, Indonesia and UK), and aims to clarify the regional diversity of Islamic finance practice in the global era. The study shows that both theory and practice of Islamic finance vary between these countries. The main contributing factor of this diversity is the difference regarding the relationship with the global hubs of Islamic finance (the Gulf countries and Malaysia).
