9月14日と15日に慶應義塾大学で開かれた社会経済史学会若手研究者育成ワークショップに参加し、専門とする地域や時代の異なる同世代の研究者と経済史の方法論や今後のあり方について議論を交わした。続いて10月22日には、青山学院女子短期大学で開かれたロシア史研究会の大会で「日露戦争後の義勇艦隊と東亜汽船:航路網の再編に見るロシア帝国の東と西」という題目で報告し、さまざまな意見を頂戴することができた。国際的な発表としては、オランダのROL Publishingから出版予定のKimitaka Matsuzato,ed.National Stereotypes and International Relations.:Russia,China ,Japan and Korea,1860-1945に"The Development of the Trade on the Amur and the Sungari and Custom Problems in the Last Years of the Russian Empire"というタイトルの論文を1月の初めに寄稿した。3月には、研究を進めていく過程で明らかになった史料の不足を埋めるためペテルブルグに出張し、ロシア国立歴史文書館とロシア国立図書館で史料収集を行った。文書館での最も大きな成果は、ロシア義勇艦隊設立時の政府内の審議録をまとめて入手できたことである。図書館でも多くの文献を閲覧したが、中でも第一次世界大戦直前に、ロシアの主要な港に自由港制を導入する計画があったことを明らかにする文献をコピーできたことが、最も大きな成果であると考えている。

September 14 - 15, Keio University opened the Society for Social and Economic History. Researchers of the same generation participated in the study of methodology for social and economic history and discussed the future. On October 22nd, Aoyama Gakuin Women's College held a conference on the topic of "Volunteer Fleet and East Ship after the Japanese War: Reorganization of the Route Network". Kimitaka Matsuzato, ed. National Stereotypes and International Relations.: Russia,China ,Japan and Korea,1860-1945 "The Development of the Trade on the Amur and the Sungari and Custom Problems in the Last Years of the Russian Empire" March 2013: The National Library of Science and Technology collects historical materials. The greatest achievement of the Document Office was the review record within the government when the Ronshiya Volunteer Fleet was established. The first time in the world, the free port system was introduced.
