Development of stellar coronagraphs for an infrared space telescope with the goal of characterizing extrasolar planets

针对利用适用于红外空间望远镜的日冕仪直接观测系外行星的重要挑战，我们开发了一个低温真空室和室内实验系统。此外，我们还研制了新的实用光瞳掩模，并利用该掩模进行了可见光波段的电晕放电实验。从而为在红外波段直接观测系外行星提供了必要的对比度。此外，我们还对日冕仪的大敌波前误差和可居住区目标的探测能力进行了仿真。

For an important challenge of direct observation of exoplanets using a coronagraph applicable to an infrared space telescope, we developed a low temperature vacuum chamber and an experimental system inside the chamber. Furthermore, we developed new designed pupil masks for practical use and carried out the coronagraph experiments using the masks at visible wavelength. As the result, we achieved a necessary contrast for the direct observation of exoplanets at infrared wavelength. Additionally, we simulated the wavefront error, which is great enemy of a coronagraph, and the detection capability of habitable zone object.
