Emergency Cable Network for Densely Inhibited Urban Districts

利用本项目首席研究员在高山三町历史保护区的100个住宅中安装的应急安全电缆网络，研究了在密集的城市地区开发社区电缆辅助的区域安全规划的综合设计指南。通过现场调查，揭示了网络人机界面的重要性。操作程序的简化和显示的改进导致了故障和向邻居传递假警报的显著减少。对系统功能的改进提出了建议，包括对故障和虚警信息的存储要求。

Utilizing the emergency safety cable network installed in 100 dwellings in Takayamasanmachi Preserved Historic District by the basic design by the head investigator of this project, comprehensive design guideline has been studied for the development of regional safety planning aided by community cable in densely inhibited urban district. The on-site investigation has revealed importance of the man-machine interface of the network. Simplification of the operation procedure and improvement of the display have resulted in significant decrease of the malfunction and transfer of false alarms to neighbors. Proposals for the improvement of the system functions, including the needs of the memory of the malfunction and false alarm information, are also summarized.
