The Structure Analysis of Graduate Schol that intend to Recurrent Education

本研究项目为期两年，主要由三部分组成。第一个研究结果是明确了成人学生的概况，例如，目前在研究生院学习的成人学生的生活方式，他们的学习动机，他们对学校的需求等。这项研究的结果是基于覆盖全日本的数据。因此，从这个意义上说，这是非常重要的，日本的研究生院应该研究他们所在学校的成人学生的概况，并将其与这项研究结果进行比较。二是通过对一些独具特色的研究生院的访谈，可以掌握日本研究生院的结构轮廓。这是他们在课程设置、课堂教学方法、学校管理流程图、教师招聘、入学考试等方面的特点。三是美国成人再教育的经验，特别是在法律、政策制定、医学等领域的经验，为高等教育专家和有意进一步开放的研究生院提供了实用的知识和很好的样本。同时也为日本研究生院的纠错教育指明了实践性的方向。

This research project is 2-years-project, and it is consist of mainly 3 parts. First research result is that the profile of adult students has been clarified, for example, the current lifestyle of adult students who are studying in graduate schools, their motivation for study, their demand for school and so on. This research results is based on the data covering all of Japan. So it is so important in that sense, and graduate schools in Japan should be expected to research the profile of adult students of their owa school and compare it to this research result. Second one is that we could grasp the outline of the sti'ucture of Japanese graduate schools in terms of interviewing some unique graduate schools. That is the characteristic points of their cLuTiculum, methodology in class, flow chart of school management, recruitment ofteachers, entrance examination and so on. Third one is that we could get much information on American experience of recurrent education for adults, especially the field of law, policy making, medicine, etc. These results provide practical knowledge and good samples to the specialists for hlgher education and graduate schools that intend to open them more. At the same time it imply the direction of rectul'ent education for Japanese graduate schools in practical level.
