项目摘要

近年、経済学や心理学では、自己効力感や向社会性といった「非認知スキル」は幼少期に可鍛性が大きいことを発見し、学校教育の中で非認知スキルを育成することが出来るのかという問いに答える研究を蓄積し始めている。本研究では、2022年度の2学期から埼玉県教育委員会と共同で、埼玉県下公立小学校の生徒とその担任を対象として、ランダム化比較試験（RCT)を実施した。介入には、研究分担者の石川教授の研究グループがJST/RISTEXの支援を受けて、認知行動療法に基づいて開発した『こころあっぷタイム』の教材を用いる。埼玉県が独自に実施しており、小学校4年生から中学校3年生まで長期に亘って同一児童を追跡している「埼玉県学力・学習状況調査」と照合して、長期的な効果を検証する計画である。RCTには公立小学校計38校228クラス6,917名の小学校４～６年生とその担任教員が参加した。国語、道徳、保健体育、総合学習などで、合計12時間分で、このプログラムを実施するため、6月中に市区町村別採択教科書に沿った授業日程を確定した。そして、研究倫理審査（IRB)の承認を得、AEA RCT Registryにも登録を行った。6月に生徒・教員双方を対象にベースライン調査を実施し、このベースライン調査のデータをもとに割り付けを実施した。割付は、学校間で不公平が生じないよう、学校・学年の割り付けとし（114クラスタ）、少なくとも1学年は介入群に割り当てられる学年を作ることした。3月にはエンドライン調査を実施した。エンドラインサーベイでは、特に①、②の処置群の生徒・教員については、『こころあっぷタイム』の理解度を問うテストも実施した。来年度は今年度とは異なる4市1町の25校165学級5,096名を対象として、今年度と同様の実験を行うことが決定している。今年度は9月開始であったが、来年度は4月から開始する。
