This research suited drawing a new Omi merchant image by analyzing the Hino merchants belonging to a type which is different in the Hachiman merchants or the Gokasho merchants. The Hino merchants performed not only a mere goods sale but the drug industry and brewing industry. They established many branches in the Japan whole country, were connected with the strong solidarity by the Hino merchant association, and were doing each active conduct of business.In this research investigation, I investigated the Hino merchant's Shono family, took a photograph and printed and decoded those historical records. And the analysis was conducted in detail and it collected into the paper. The archives in Hino-cho also took the photograph of Omi merchant historical records, and I walked along it and travelled the area within Hino-cho.
