本研究の目的は2004年9月に日本で開催される国際研究集会『Larix2004』について研究内容面からの企画準備を行うことである。具体的には、上記研究集会にむけて専門分野の異なる研究者が現在までに国内外で行われてきたニホンカラマツを対象にした研究の学術的意義を再評価し、そこでの問題点の抽出と新たな研究課題を提示することである。以下、研究実績を時系列に示す。平成15年5月、交付内定通知を受けて、研究費の配分を行うとともに、研究代表者及び研究分担者間で主に電子メールによって関連研究領域間での調整を行い、境界領域の研究課題提示に向けた話し合いを行った。平成15年6月、京都において第1回課題検討会議を行った。会議においてそれぞれの研究分担者が担当する研究分野を以下のように決定した。全体総括:高田、次代検定林分野:栗延、産地試験分野:長坂、木材強度分野:小泉、木材組織構造及び利用分野:安江、分子生物学分野:Szmidt、森林生態学分野:木佐貫、特用林産物分野:玉井。6月の課題検討会議以降、各研究分担者はそれぞれの研究分野において過去実施された研究・調査に関する文献収集を行う。平成15年12月、秋田県立大学・木材高度加工研究所において第2回課題検討会議を行った。会議において研究分野の境界領域の取り扱い、最終報告所(英文)の書式、最終報告所の配布方法等について討議を行った。平成16年3月、研究分担者より各研究分野において行われた過去の研究・調査に関する取りまとめが研究代表者のもとに送付され、研究代表者によってコンパイルされた。現在、今年9月に行われる国際研究集会において参加者への配布資料として再編集中である。

The purpose of this study is to promote the international research conference "Larix2004" held in Japan in September 2004. The specific research meetings are divided into different fields, and the researchers are now at home and abroad. The academic significance of the research is re-evaluated, and the problem points are extracted and new research topics are suggested. The following is a summary of the research results. Overall: Takata, Sub-generation forest division: Kuriobu, Origin test division: Nagasaka, Wood strength division: Koizumi, Wood tissue structure and utilization division: Ane, Molecular biology division:Szmidt, Forest ecology division: Kisanuki, Special-purpose forest products division: Tamai. Since June's project review meeting, each research contributor has conducted a literature collection of research and surveys conducted in the past December, 2015, Akita Prefectural University, Institute of Advanced Wood Processing, held the 2nd project discussion meeting. The conference was held to discuss the selection of research areas, the book format of the final report, and the distribution method of the final report. March, 2016: Research team members from each research area conduct research in the past. Now, in September of this year, the International Research Conference will be held in Beijing.
