マッチング市場において（分権的あるいは集権的）メカニズムを運営する経済主体を明示的に考慮した理論モデルを構築した。そのモデルにおいて、生産者余剰と消費者余剰から成る総余剰を計算した。そして、分権的メカニズムと集権的メカニズムの総余剰を比較し、集権的総余剰が分権的総余剰を上回る必要条件を求めた。さらに、金銭授受が無い場合の非分割財配分問題について、各財が持つ優先順序が不完備な場合、そして各財の定員が調整可能な場合のそれぞれについて、望ましい集権的メカニズムについて研究成果を得て、ワーキングペーパーとして公開した。
