Feasibility of involving trained community mediators in COVID-19 prevention measures (COVID-TCM)

Against the background of a strongly socially structured spread of the corona pandemic, the project aims to investigate the feasibility and general framework of involving trained community mediators to improve COVID-19 infection prevention in disadvantaged settings. We aim to conduct an analysis of needs and concerns and subsequently train and deploy community mediators in an exemplary city district in Bremen. The project will also address the use of digital tools in this context , as well as the potential of the community mediator approach for sustainable pandemic preparedness in such settings.
