Sixteen Year On-going Study concerning Transfigurations of Families and Communities of Local people in Northern Thailand-Focusing on Socio-information Development and Commodity Economic Growth-

Since 1991, the investigators have been comprehensively researching on the life of local people in an unelectrified village, Ban Angkhai, and its neighboring village, Ban Omlong for a comparison, in northern Thailand under the permission of the government. During 2004 to 2006, series of field researches, supported by GIA for Science Research (C), were conducted on transfigurations of families and communities of local people focusing on socio-information development and commodity economic growth under the questionnaire, hearing and demographic surveys for seven times.
