We held 3 times workshops in 2005. They were held in Nagoya University (June 26,2005), in Hokkaigakuen University (November 26,2005), in Tokyo University (March 10,2006). We reported our researches each other and exchanged heated discussions.Individually, Kanji Tokura published "An Essay on the Belgian Christian Democracy" (HOGAKU RONSYU, pp.521-565,2005), studying the Belgian types of Christian Democracy. Tokura also published two joint translations. They are <Pascal Perrineau, "Les interpretations de la montee de l'euroscepticisme aux elections europennes de 2004" (HOGAKU RONSYU, pp.296-308,2005)> and <E.Gerard et al., "Christian Democracy in Europe" (HOGAKU RONSYU, pp.757-789,2005).Akira Taguchi did not publish any article, but he made two excellent reports in our workshops. He advanced the study on the Christian Democracy in Swiss and Austria.Shogo Noda published two articles. They are <Politics of "Crisis, Choice, and Change" : "Crisis, Choice, and Change" Revisited(HOGAKU ZASSHI, Vol.52,pp.1-17,2005)> and <"European Concert Politics in Globalization"(in Susumu Takahashi (Ed.), European Democracy in the New Century., pp.56-80.,2006)>. He also added the study on the Christian Democracy in Germany for our workshop.Takeshi Ito published a book review in English. That is "Machiavelli's Children : Leaders & Their Legacies in Italy & Japan" (Social Science Japan Journal, pp.322-326,2005). He also translated one book into Japanese. That is Dahl, Robert Alan et al., "Dahl talks on Democracy" (p.199,2006).After all, each one studied profoundly Christian Democracy and West European Party System in various sides.
