项目摘要

不慮の事故における死亡は，2015年度における我が国の死因別死亡率の第6位と高い．その内訳は窒息が9806人と一番多く，その約半分が食品であった．精神疾患には認知症，統合失調症，うつ病等があり，患者は年々増加傾向で，特に認知症やうつ病が増加している．精神疾患患者の窒息の頻度は一般健常人に比べて極めて高く，30倍以上であったとの報告がある．精神疾患と嚥下障害との関連は深いにも関わらず,窒息を予防する評価法や対処法はほとんどなく，明確な予防策はない．窒息を予測することが可能となれば，日本の死亡率も減少させることが可能となると考えられる．本研究は，精神疾患患者を対象とした，前向き調査による口腔内状態，摂食機能の関係を解析することで，窒息予測プロトコールの開発することを目的とした．平成29年度に昭和大学医の倫理委員会より研究にあたり，承諾を得た．プロトコール開発の前段階として，患者の嚥下・機能の評価を行うアセスメントシートを作成し，評価する予定である.2018年5月～2023年5月まで，産休育休を取得し研究中断している．そのため，昨年度は研究中断している．
