项目摘要

昨年度に引き続き北海道A地域B団地において、独居高齢者などの見守り活動を続けている住民や自治会員が、その地域のステークホルダーとともに地域の課題や今後の地域活動について意見交換する場に参加し、見守り活動や自治会活動の状況について、見守りの必要な住民の状況や高齢者の外出の状況、地域の交流の状況についてヒアリングを実施した。ヒアリングの結果、北海道A地域B団地では新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響で自治会の活動を休止せざるを得ず、見守りなどの自治活動も一部の住民の有志で隣近所を気に掛けるなどの活動に制限している状況が明らかとなった。そのような状況で住民からの要望もあり、研究者と連携研究者、研究協力者により、研究者の所属大学のボランティア学生とともに、住民の傾聴を行うことを企画し、実施する予定で準備を進めたが、日本国内発のオミクロン株の流行に伴い、住民の安全確保のため実施を断念した。その後も、対面の傾聴のみならず、オンラインでの支援の方法など、本研究の実施方法を検討し、感染拡大状況を鑑みながら、地域の高齢者が主体的に見守りや傾聴活動ができるための研究としての介入のタイミングを見計らっていたが、感染の収束の目処も立たたず自治会活動が行われていない状況が続いていたため、実施を見送った。今後は、連携研究者と研究協力者と協議の上、対象地域を変更し、研究としての介入方法も検討することとした。
