项目摘要

Relations between survival strategies and morphology of jaws and teeth among African cercopithecids were investigated. The differences of used plant foods among guenons were found. L’hoest’s monkeys (Cercopithecus lhoesti), which frequently fed on hard leaves, had strong jaws and teeth adapting to wear down. Colobus monkeys, which have specialized digestive organs, morphologically adapted to feed on hard leaves by different ways of guenons.

研究了非洲蠓的颌齿形态与生存策略之间的关系。发现不同类群对植物性食物的利用存在差异。L 'hoest的猴子（Cercopithecus lhoesti）经常以坚硬的树叶为食，有强壮的下颚和适应磨损的牙齿。疣猴具有特殊的消化器官，在形态上适应了以硬叶为食的不同方式。
