The second part of my project, titled " Parallel and divergent morphological adaptations underlying the evolution of jumping ability in ants" was submitted to the journal of Integrative Organismal Biology, and the preprint is available on Biorxiv (https://doi.org/10.1101/2023.03.11.531676). In this paper we investigated the morphological adaptations for jumping behavior in ants. All the raw data are provided in Dryad Digital repository and the 3D models of all treated specimens are provided on Sketchfab. The results of this project was presented at a workshop “OIST-Tohoku University Joint Workshop on Biodiversity: From Genes and Species to Ecosystem Services and Resilience” (featured speaker) and at a Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia (seminar).
