本年度はまず、1992年から2004年まで東京大学が発掘調査を行ったタルクィニア市カッツァネッロ所在のローマ時代別荘遺跡出土資料について、三次元計測をはじめとする再資料化作業の準備を進め、現在資料が収蔵されている南エトルリア地域考古監督局の遺物収蔵庫内の現況を確認した。収蔵庫内はやや手狭であって、資料撮影などの作業に十分なスペースが確保できるかやや難しいように思われたが、管理担当者との相談の結果、スペース捻出の目途が立ったので、そのことも含めて収蔵庫における整理作業の許可申請を行っている。つぎに、タルクィニア国立考古学博物館と南エトルリア考古監督局の協力を得て、ペルージャ大学が発掘調査を行っているグラヴィスカ遺跡からローマ大学が発掘調査を行っているサンタ・リスティトゥート遺跡（タルクィニアのアクロポリス）を通ってノルキアの遺跡群までを結ぶライン沿いの地域において簡易的な分布調査を行った。さらに分布調査と並行して、該当地域の遺跡分布状況について、地元住民に対する聞き取り調査を行い、有力な情報に関しては現地確認を行うようにした。これらの作業によって、グラヴィスカ遺跡の隣接地域、グラヴィスカ南側ティレニア海沿岸のサンジョルジョ地区、アクロポリ東側の森林地帯、さらには近隣のバルバラーノ・ロマーノ市近郊の計4ヶ所で有力な調査候補地を得ることができた。また参考資料として、ヴァチカン図書館を中心に中世教皇領であったタルクィニア周辺の荘園関連資料、古地図等の情報収集を行い、若干の図書資料を購入した。

This year, the University of Tokyo has been conducting excavation surveys from 1992 to 2004 to confirm the current status of the relics collection at the South Regional Archaeological Supervision Bureau.
