申請者は、米国において有用性が検証されているBASICS(Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention of College Students)5)を参考に、わが国の大学生を対象にした横断調査結果を反映したアルコール教育ツールを開発した。今回、大学の健康診断において、アルコールに関する簡易スクリーニングにより問題飲酒が疑われた大学生に対して、開発したツールを用いた介入の効果検証を行い、大学生が飲酒の場でより安全な飲酒行動がとれるようになることである。具体的には「大学における健康診断・健康関連情報の標準化についてのガイドライン」の「アルコール摂取に関わる問診と教育・啓発の有効性の検討が重要である」との指針を受け、健康診断で問題飲酒が疑われる学生に対して申請者が開発した教育ツールを用いた簡易介入を行い、効果を検証するものである。本年度は、他業務への対応等で具体的な対応ができていない。
