令和４年度は、本研究の最終年度に開発予定の学習プログラムの理論的な基盤である変容的学習に関することと理論を本計画へ応用した際の現象の解釈が適切であるのかについて専門家への助言を求めた。ジャック・メジローの専門家に、変容的学習の理論そのものの解釈、本研究計画で変容的学習を応用した際の現象の取り扱いや活用に齟齬がないか具体的な確認を行った。専門家によると、メジローの変容的学習の理論は厳格なものではなく、解釈も発表年により変化している等のことであった。そして、本研究にメジローの変容的学習を応用することは可能であるが、やや曖昧な理論であることから、人の健康に関する学習を取り扱った文献の紹介を受けた。紹介された文献は、「健康学習」を実際に展開した書籍と成人が自らの役割を学び直す学習体験に関する書籍で、助産師と小児専門看護師が互いの実践能力を共有することが目的とされる本研究に合致した文献を用い、研究者で抄読をし、共通理解を深めた。本研究の対象となる助産師と小児専門看護師の特徴について、文献をもとに整理をした。助産師と小児専門看護師を米国の高度実践看護師の文脈で捉え、専門職としての成り立ち、米国および国際的な定義、資格とその認証、法的規制、役割と今後の展望、実践の特徴、教育、コンピテンシー、課題、多職種とのコラボレーションについて整理をした。また、本研究では実践能力の共有を目指すため、助産師と小児専門看護師といった高度専門職の役割拡大の可能性と課題について検討した。
