ヘルスリテラシーの程度に影響を与える要因を身体的側面と精神的側面を生物学的指標から多面的に評価することを目的とした。ヘルスリテラシーの測定は、European Health Literacy Survey Questionnaire日本語版(J-HLS-EU-Q47)を用いて、対象者のヘルスリテラシーの程度を明らかにした。身体的健康の評価は、MC-780A-N（株式会社タニタ）のインピーダンス式体組成計による体組成値を用いた。精神的健康は精神的ストレスを客観的指標として用いた。精神的ストレスの指標としてd-ROMsテスト及びBAPテストを用いて評価した。さらに、関連要因として、自記式質問紙を用いて、「年齢」、「性別」、「職業」、「身体疾患の有無」、「服薬状況」、「Breslowの7つの健康習慣」、栄養摂取状況としてBDHQ (簡易型自記式食事歴法質問票)、GHQ12 (精神的健康度)、CES-D (抑うつ尺度)を収集した。ヘルスリテラシーの程度と身体組成値および酸化ストレスとの関連について、性別、日常生活習慣の違いやGHQ12およびCES-D値を統計的に補正したロジスティック回帰分析を用いて統計学的有意水準を5％として評価した。ロジスティック回帰分析に当たっては、J-HLS-EU-Q47得点を25点でカットオフを行い低群と高群に二分した。調査に協力した対象者は51名であり、そのうち酸化ストレスに影響を及ぼす薬剤（ホルモン剤等）を服用している者を除いた42名を分析対象とした。ロジスティック回帰分析を実施した結果、J-HLS-EU-Q47に影響がある因子は、d-ROMs値(p=.033)、GHQ12(p=.027)、CES-D得点(p=.028)であった。身体組成値は有意な差は見られなかった。今後は、調査を継続し30代以上の対象者を含めてサンプル数を増やす必要がある。
