令和4年度は、既存のプログラミング演習科目2科目について、各々半期のすべての演習課題について精査し、サンプルコードのテスト容易性対応と自動テストを整備することができた。サンプルコードのコンポーネントの構造分析に基づいて、予め自動テストを整備した演習課題へと改善することで、タイプ（B-1）の支援を満たした演習課題とし、そのような演習環境下で初学者が自動テストを活用してプログラミングを進めることが可能なのか、についての実験を実施した。自動テスト環境下と自動テスト環境なしでの対照実験であり、演習結果の評価と、各被験者の演習活動の分析を行った。実験結果から、初学者であっても自動テスト環境を活用してコンポーネント単位でのバグの所在を認識してプログラミング演習を進めることが可能であることが示され、また、自動テスト環境を与えることによる演習環境の複雑化の悪影響は限定的であることが示された。一方で、演習結果については有意な差はなく、問題箇所の特定と問題箇所の改善の間にはまだ大きな差があることが示唆された。また、本評価実験に際して、学習者のプログラミング演習活動ログを収集する環境を整備し、有用性を確認することができた。この環境では学習者が統合開発環境を通常通り利用する中で、コード編集、コード参照、ファイル変更、ビルド、実行、テスト等ログを時系列で収集することができ、今後、学習者のプログラミング演習活動ログの分析を効果的に進めることができる。
