项目摘要

令和４年度は，スペイン・バスク州の企業立地についての研究を実施した。すでに手元にある論文や資料，オンラインで公開されている論文や資料によって先行研究や分析の際の理論的枠組みを確認した上で，まずは，バスク州のデータを用いて産業構造や企業立地についての分析を進めた。その結果，バスク州では，高い技術力を必要とする知識集約型の製造業に競争力があること，特にハイテク部門の人材が多く労働の質が高いこと，それがバスク州の企業立地において優位となっていることが確認された。当該研究については，令和４年９月７日から９日にかけてスペイン・バレアレス諸島大学で開催されたAssociation for Contemporary Iberian Studies, 43rd Annual Conferenceにて報告を行った（オンラインでの参加・発表は９月９日）。その上で，この研究成果については，令和５年６月にCambridge Scholars Publishersから刊行される書籍，Peninsularities: National and Insular identities, Transatlantic Crossings and Networkの中の１章として論文が掲載される予定である。また，政府関連機関の役割については，これまでのバスク州の産業政策についての先行研究からその特徴と課題をまとめるとともに，令和５年３月下旬にバスク州の投資促進機関であるBasque Trade and Investmentの東京オフィスに対してインタビュー調査を実施した。現在はその内容の取りまとめと分析を試みており，その研究内容については令和５年９月にポルトガル・ポルト大学で開催されるAssociation for Contemporary Iberian Studies, 44th Annual Conferenceで報告を行う予定である。
