精神疾患は思春期を好発時期としており、発症後は再燃・悪化しやすいという特徴がある。そのため、思春期を対象として精神的不調と関連する要因を明らかにすることが精神疾患を予防する上で重要である。本研究では、日常生活下で行われる生活行動のうち、座位行動に注目し精神的不調との関連を明らかにすることを目的としている。座位行動とは、覚醒中の座っている、横になっているなどのエネルギー消費量の非常に小さな行動のことである。座位行動についてはいくつかの研究で精神的不調との関連を調べているが結果の一貫性は乏しい。これには、座位行動が主観的な測定手法では妥当性が乏しいことや、座位行動については他の行動にも影響を与えるため、他の変化した行動による精神的不調への影響も検討する必要があるということが考えられる。２０２２年度については、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響を受け実験が困難な状態であったため、測定環境の整備を中心に行なった。また、研究計画の見直しの中で、個人間の座位行動時間が長いほど精神的不調がどうなのかという視点のみでなく、個人の内で長い日は精神的不調がどうなのかという視点が必要であると考え、１日毎に精神的不調に関連する項目についてメッセージでの回答を求めるシステムを構築した。3名の予備実験を行い、2種類（手首と大腿部）の加速度計による睡眠時間・運動時間・座位行動時間を計測することができた。メッセージ機能による１日毎の精神的不調に関連する項目についても回答することができており、測定可能な環境が整っていることが確認できた。2023年度は、計測を開始し、精神的不調と座位行動の関連について個人内・個人間両方の視点から解析を行い明らかにしていく。
